Amy Lynn Thomas

Amy Lynn Thomas, formerly Cooley, known also as Jordan, unexpectedly passed away on September 26, 2024, in Rock Hill, SC, at the age of 52. Born on May 1, 1972, Amy's life was characterized by her vibrant, free-spirited nature, her spontaneity, and her exceptional wit, which brought laughter and light to all who knew her.

Amy's zest for life was evident in her hobbies. An avid thrift shopper, she had an eye for unique finds and treasures. Her love for plants turned her home into a lush sanctuary. Additionally, Amy was a passionate collector, always on the lookout for intriguing items to add to her diverse collections.

She leaves behind her daughters, Holly Thomas, Samantha Cooley, and Jamie Smyly, along with six granddaughters. Amy is also survived by her mother, Lynn McGrath (Edward), her father, Mike Cooley (Donna), her sister, Danielle Cooley Hines, and her fiancé, John Stewart.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at a visitation on Sunday, October 6th from 2:30PM to 3:30PM at Greater Life Church, located at 103 Locust Ave, Locust, NC 28097. A service celebrating Amy's life will follow immediately at the same location.

Amy will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who were fortunate to know her.
