Anita Maria Muentener

Ms. Anita Maria Muentener was born in germany on July 23, 1946, to her parents, the late John and Aneila Selent. They traveled from Germany to New Jersey for a new and happy life, she married her husband, the late John Muentener, Jr.

She sadly departed this earthly life on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, in the comfort of her home in York, SC to be with our Heavenly Father. She was full of pride, joy, and full of love for her family and friends.

She is survived by her three children, Mickie Muentener, John muentener Il and Jessica Childers. Along being a strong person, she always took pride and joy in loving her eight grandchildren, along with her nieces and nephews.

Anita devoted her life to flowers, gardening and the outdoors. She always loved flowers and hummingbirds. She loved to dance and make everyone happy with laughter or to simply smile. She is one of a kind.

Anitas' legacy lives on in the countless lives she has touched, with kindness, strength, courage, generosity, and a love that will continue to guide friends and family.

Her family and friend will celebrate her privately as she wishes in the spring.
