Mr. Brian Jenkins, 39, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on October 12, 2025. He was born on August 21, 1986, to Brenda Moore and Billy Jenkins.
Brian was an avid painter with a generous heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and never hesitated to stand up for what he believed in. His large presence matched his even larger heart, and he was fiercely protective of those he loved.
Music was a constant in Brian's life - if he wasn't playing a song, you could count on hearing him sing. He was known for raiding the fridge as soon as he walked in the door and for bringing laughter wherever he went.
Before meeting Krissi, Brian had never experienced traveling. During their 12 years together, he went on many adventures, including beach trips, mountain getaways, camping on the creek, tubing down the Green River, and even a short move to Florida, where he explored Jacksonville and dipped his toes into the water at Jax Beach.
2019 was a big year for Brian - he married the love of his life, Krissi, and celebrated the birth of their son, Clevie, who is his twin in every way. Brian deeply loved making memories with his son and family.
Brian is survived by his wife, Krissi Jenkins, and son Clevelyn Jenkins; step-sons Luke, Kolby, and Smitty; parents Brenda Moore and Billy Jenkins; his "Mama Chelle," April Nanney. He is also survived by his brother Jimmy-Dean Jenkins; sisters Lisa & David Ready, Lisa & Larry Brice, Stephanie & Chris Huffstler, Tommy & Danielle Nanney, Ashley & Charlie Baker, and Justin & Amanda McDonald; his aunt Iris Bolen; uncle Steven Dees; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends who were like family.
He was preceded in death by Willie Jenkins, Wesley "Pops" Nanney, Jackson Renn, and two angel babies.
