Cynthia (Parker) O'Neal

Mrs. Cynthia Parker O'Neal, age 65, of York SC passed away surrounded by her loved ones on December 31, 2024 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice Home in Rock Hill, SC.

Cynthia was born on July 16, 1959 in York, SC, daughter of William Arthur Parker and Betty Jane Childers. She was a member of Kings Mountain Chapel UMC, which was built and founded by the Parker’s and other local families in York, SC.

Cynthia's legacy is one of unyielding kindness and generosity. She continued to care for her beloved family, regardless of her own health struggles. She will be dearly missed by those whom experienced her love but her love and kindness will always be in their hearts.

Those left to cherish and rejoice in Cynthia's memories are her husband of 49 years, Larry Dean O'Neal, children, Shane O'Neal, Crystal (Patrick) Sweet, Christopher O'Neal, Ashley O'Neal; grandchildren, Kayden, Tristen, Ashlyn, Dylan, Kayce, Emory, Brandon, Parker and Riley; daughters-in-love, Melanie Walker and Michelle O'Neal; brother Allen(Jean) Carole; sister Renee (Tim) Jenkins as well as many other family and friends that loved her.

She was preceded in death by brother, Marshall and his wife Brenda Parker.

Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Kings Mountain Chapel UMC 1130 Philbeck Road in York, SC. Please keep her family in your prayers.
