Mr. John Lomick, 58 of 614 W. Harrison Avenue, passed away on September 9, 2024, in Kings Mountain, NC. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was born on February 6, 1966, in Gastonia, NC.
John was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and love; he was a very jolly person. He was a roofer at Carson Metal Roofing on Dallas Cherryville Highway, and he worked at Buckeye's in Bessemer City, NC.He was the son of the late Wiley and Ruth Lomick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Lomick; brothers, Steve Lomick, James
A. Lomick, and David Lomick; sister, Emma Gopie; and brother-in-law, Campbell Wilson.
He leaves his love and memories with his children, TaQuina Darby, Dearra Lomick, and Tylik Lomick; seven grandchildren, Cayden, Candace, Chanze, Makeda, Anastasia, Royalty, and Reason; sisters, Joyce Wilson, Willie Sanchez, and Mary (Jerome) Webber; brothers, Wiley Lomick and James W. Lomick; special nieces, Tammy Wilson and Danielle Lomick; special nephew, Demarius Wilson; longtime friend, Kevin Walker; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
