Kalei Danae Chisholm

Miss Kalei Danae Chisholm was born on December 22, 2008 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Danita and Kenyata Chisholm. She departed this life on January 5, 2024. Kalei was educated in Charlotte Mecklenburg School system where she left her mark on all of her teachers. She was a freshman at Julius L. Chambers High School. Kalei leaves to cherish her memory her devoted mother Danita Chisholm of the home, father Kenyata (Alvarys)Chisholm of Charlotte, NC; two sisters: Kian and KenzleyChisholm, one brother: Kenyata Chisholm Jr, all of Charlotte, NC.; grandmothers: Roslyn Riley and Jacqueline Chisholm, both of Charlotte NC; grandfathers: Danny Henry and Alexandro Sheppard of Columbia, SC and John Riley of Charlotte, NC.; great grandparents Emma Henry and Magdalene Chisholm both of Columbia SC, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family. Kalei enjoyed watching television, being read to and spending time with family. She was a joy to all that she encountered. She made sure that her eyes communicated her wants, needs and dislikes. She was preceded in death by: her sister Ke’aja Chisholm; uncles Daniel Henry and Preston Sheppard and grandparents James and Elizabeth Spann and Arthur Henry Jr.

Little Miss Kalei Danae Chisholm's family will honor her life 12 Noon on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Second Calvary Baptist Church 114 Nelson Avenue Charlotte, NC 28216.
