Kathryn Ann Stratton

Ms. Kathryn Stratton was born on October 1, 1956 to the late Mr. John J. Galli and Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Galli in Bennington, Vermont. She sadly transitioned into eternity on January 12, 2025 in Rock Hill, SC. She had maintained her kindness, compassion, unwavering sense of humor and love of family and friends.

Kathy as she preferred to be called can be summed up as someone who struggled to love herself, who was never able to overcome all of her demons but who also loved with her whole heart, laughed often and clung to her beliefs and convictions. We are very proud of the Kathy she worked hard to become before her untimely death.

She is survived by her daughters, Kristyn Linn and Karyn Stratton as well as her ex- Husband, John “Tim” Stratton; sister-in-law, Barbara Behan Galli; sister and brother- in- law, Donna and Denny Gauthier; brother, Joseph Galli and her four grandchildren amongst nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Leon Galli.

Everyone has their struggles in life and many people lose a lot of themselves on the way, she never lost sight of things she valued the most, which was food, fun and family. Looking back on her life, sharing her love of cooking and laughter is something you could never forget and will be cherished for years to come.
