Reverend Ida Tate McCaw

Mrs. Ida Ree Tate McCaw, 85, peacefully transitioned to glory on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Her Homegoing Service will be on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 2pm at Wilson Chapel AME Zion Church, 4080 Wilson Chapel Road Sharon, SC 29742. Viewing will be prior to service on Sunday from 1pm-2pm.

Public viewing will be 5:00p-7:00pm on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests a love donation to Mr. Paul A. McCoy Sr., Ida's oldest son and caregiver for her last 10 years. Caring for an Alzheimer's patient is one of the most challenging tasks any care provider could ever face. Paul “Danny” cared for our mother with Love, patience, affection, respect and selflessness, so we want to honor him for his sacrifice.
