Yuna Thompson

Little Miss Yuna Ophelia Thompson was born on April 27, 2022. She sadly passed away on December 26, 2023 due to complications from her second open heart surgery. 

Yuna Ophelia was a bubbly and enthusiastic 19 month old. Yuna would spend her days watching her favorite show Bluey, eating her favorite foods, and playing with her baby sister and her cat. If Yuna wasn’t running around her house playing and making messes, she was at her Grandma’s (Diane Thompson) trying to eat Grandma’s snacks or trying to drink whatever Grandma had in her cup. Yuna had an infectious smile that would light up any room. Anyone who met Yuna would instantly fall in love. Yuna will be in the hearts of all she left behind forever and always, and will remembered as a fun loving and goofy little girl.

Yuna Ophelia was preceded in death by her maternal (Nana), Darlene Medlin Senter and her paternal great grandmother, Ida Mae Waugh.

Yuna Ophelia is survived by her mother, Hayley Gabrielle Senter, father, Nathan Lamar Thompson, her baby sister Rukia Mae Thompson, paternal grandmother, Diane Thompson, aunts, Trinity Starnes, Alex Senter, Lindsay Rogers, Robin Thompson, uncles, Chris Starnes and Courtney Thompson. 

Little Miss Yuna Ophelia Thompson will have a memorial service on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 3:00pm at the funeral home.
