Zachary Taylor Brandon

It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Zachary Taylor Brandon, who left this earthly life on September 30, 2024, at the age of 37. A cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, Zach's life was defined by his unwavering love for family and friends, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on December 14, 1986, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Zach's childhood was imbued with joy, he had a passion for skateboarding and music in a town that would become a backdrop for a wealth of fond memories. From an early age, he was known for his infectious laughter, vibrant spirit, and kind heart. As a loving brother and protector, he embodied the values of loyalty and love that were deeply instilled in him by his family. His family always came first, demonstrating a selfless dedication that resonated through every aspect of his life.

Zach's adventurous spirit extended beyond his familial bonds; he had a profound love for animals. His warmth, love, and unwavering commitment to family and faith will be cherished and remembered by all who encountered him.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Sherry Brandon; his beloved sister, Lynsie Brandon, her fiance John Brantley and his cherished niece, Indigo Dorsett; and a close-knit circle of relatives and friends, including his aunt Georgetta McGuire, uncle Frankie McGuire and cousins Brandon Gross, Jonathon McGuire, Cayce McGuire, Lincoln Bingham and Olin Mcguire.

In honor of Zach's life—a life built on the principles of love, laughter, and loyalty —a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Old Path Community Church on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 6:30pm. This gathering will serve as an opportunity for friends and family to come together, to share stories, and to remember the joy Zach brought into their lives.

As we navigate the immense sadness of his passing, we also celebrate the beautiful spirit of Zachary Taylor Brandon.

Though he may no longer be with us in person, his legacy will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him. May we honor him by embodying the kindness and compassion he so generously shared with the world.
